Grey Effects
Nr. 10 (119)
Usually the grey colour is associated with everyday life and a cloudy sky. Yet when applied considerately in interior design, it becomes an effective motif endowing the space with subtle elegance. It helps to reveal the beautiful shapes of things, and its seemingly insignificant gradations prevent monotony. The designer Gintarė Janukėnaitė from the design studio Yzy has used those characteristics of grey intelligently while creating a modern interior of a flat.

An Architect’s Home
Nr. 7-8 (117)

Subtle Openness
Nr. 6 (116)
When designing this house, architects Eglė Prunskienė and Ieva Prunskutė have tried to preserve the principle of open space and create original architecture. The strict, static shapes are gracefully combined with wavy lines. To create unity they have used the same materials outside and inside.

A White Dream
Nr. 6 (116)
Architects Asta and Artūras Imbrasas have demonstrated the advantages of white colour in many interiors. By using contrast they reach effective results: things become ephemeral and light against the dark floor. Such nuances are particularly obvious in this flat because it opens to the panorama of the city thanks to the glass walls.
