A LIVE HOUSE
Nr. 7-8 (117)
The Italian architects’ Studio Molteni has created an innovative conception of a PLUG IN HOUSE for several generations to live under one roof. A PLUG IN HOUSE is a system of mass produced elements that can be harmoniously combined and their number can be varied depending on the changing needs of the inhabitants.
Like Luxurious Chocolate
Nr. 3 (114)
Brown motifs of various shades dominate this interior, which reminds of luxurious black chocolate. Architects Irma Malcienė and Sigitas Žukas started creating this interior in an already built house. The owners requested an original interior, thus, the architects suggested changing the original plan completely.
The Aesthetics of Plastic Expression
Nr. 1-2 (113)
The plastic shapes of curved lines always fit harmoniously into the environment. A recently realised project by the architects’ bureau Vilius ir partneriai (architects Vida Vyšniauskienė and Vilius Adomavičius, constructor Mindaugas Kasiulevičius) confirms the truth of these statements. When looking from the slope, the laconic shape of the building seems to float in the air, hardly touching the ground with its glass surfaces.
THROUGH CHILDREN‘S EYES
Nr. 9-10 (112)
Italian architect Roberto Semprini believes that the truth speaks through children as they draw what they see and instinctively feel. Children’s drawings have inspired him to create a new project for a prefab carcass house, Green Home, for Italian producers Subissati.
With an Idyllic Aura
The architecture of Alma and Rolandas Palekas (constructor A. Dominaitė) stands out for its purified form, and Asta Kazlauskienė creates laconic interiors.
